Investigating intercultural practices in an informal educational environment of bilingual students (Master thesis)

The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the action of the "Project for the Education of Muslim Children" (in terms of its general philosophy, the teaching materials and the implementation of the teaching process) in the context of the theoretical principles and methodological practices of Interculturalism. At the same time, the theoretical context in which this informal education, that concerns the "education of the Other", is structured will be examined. Furthermore, an attempt will be made to explain and evaluate how this program is being served and how it aims to improve the formal education context with a view to teaching the greek-language to the muslim children. Finally, the way of technical intervention of the project in the education of muslim children will be discussed.
