A leisure time workshop for teenagers in order to create a pop up performance in the context of a museum education application at the Ethnological Museum of Thrace. (Master thesis)

The role of museums today has been adapted so it can meet the needs of its multidimensional audience. Museum pedagogy gives the same acknowledgement to the cognitive as well as the emotional dimension of learning within the museum. This case study presents the designing, implementing and evaluating of a leisure workshop to create a pop up performance among teenagers at a museum. For this, a workshop for teens titled "Memory Box, Creating a Performance" was designed and implemented. The sample of the survey was 6 students of middle school. The tools used to collect data were the questionnaire, participatory observation and the semi-structured interview.
