| heal.abstract | Η διπλωματική εργασία με τίτλο «Δημόσιος χώρος και gentrification : Το παράδειγμα της γειτονιάς Σβώλου στη Θεσσαλονίκη» πραγματοποιήθηκε με σκοπό να διερευνηθεί η εφαρμογή του φαινομένου του gentrification στην κεντρική γειτονιά της Θεσσαλονίκης, την Α. Σβώλου. Η εργασία έχει χωριστεί σε δύο μέρη. Μέσα από το θεωρητικό μέρος της έρευνας πραγματοποιείται μια προσπάθεια μελέτης της παραγωγής δημόσιου χώρου, της διεκδίκησης δικαιωμάτων στη πόλη, των περιφράξεων και του φαινομένου του gentrification. Το gentrification είναι ένα φαινόμενο το οποίο παρατηρείται τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες σε κεντρικές περιοχές πόλεων και σταδιακά οδηγεί σε μια συνολική αλλαγή στις χρήσεις, στις λειτουργίες και στους ίδιους τους χρήστες των περιοχών αυτών. Στο εμπειρικό μέρος της εργασίας πραγματοποιείται η έρευνα στη γειτονιά της Σβώλου με σκοπό να εντοπιστεί η εφαρμογή του φαινομένου του gentrification. Το είδος της έρευνας που επιλέχθηκε είναι αυτό της ποσοτικής και πραγματοποιήθηκε με τη χρήση ηλεκτρονικού ερωτηματολογίου σε δείγμα 75 ατόμων. Το κεντρικό συμπέρασμα της έρευνας μας δείχνει ότι η γειτονιά της Σβώλου σταδιακά εμφανίζει όλο και περισσότερα δείγματα του φαινομένου του gentrification. | el |
| heal.abstract | This research entitled "Public space and gentrification: The example of the neighborhood of Svolos in Thessaloniki" was conducted in order to investigate the application of the phenomenon of gentrification in the central neighborhood of Thessaloniki, A. Svolou. The research is divided into two parts. Through the theoretical part of the research, an attempt is made to study the production of public space, the claim of rights in the city, the fencing and the phenomenon of gentrification. Gentrification is a phenomenon that has been observed in recent decades in central urban areas and is gradually leading to a total change in the uses, functions and the users of these areas themselves. In the empirical part of the work, the research is carried out in the neighborhood of Svolos in order to identify the application of the gentrification phenomenon. The type of research selected is that of quantitative research and was conducted using an electronic questionnaire on a sample of 75 people. The main conclusion of our research shows that the neighborhood of Svolos is gradually showing more and more samples of the phenomenon of gentrification. | en |
