Ο ρόλος της εκπαίδευσης στην πρόληψη της επιπλοκής (Master thesis)
Ζηνάπης, Απόστολος
The greatest problems of healthcare today are more and more related to the individual behaviour of the patient and are the result of chronical conditions. While mortality,as a cause of these conditions,is decreasing, illnesses are on the increase. For these conditions, prevention at all levels requires active participation by the patient, always under the guidance and support of health professionals.A patient's effective participation requires training, motivation and advising.Although a professional's working conditions do not allow them to cover all their educational needs ,they could be determined on the starting and guiding procedure.PURPOSE:The purpose of this project is to determine the role of patient training on their health issues and their conditions with the aim of preventing complications at all stages of their illness. Moreover the existing bibliography aims at determining the effecti-veness of educational programmes related to health issues and programmes targeting special groups of patients with the intention of informing and preventing any complications of a condition. For the completion of this project ,articles of the existing bibliography have been used.
