O Tempora! O mores! (Oh the times! Oh the manners!) Science and technology in the twenty-first century are bound to shape new manners through their contemporary achievements. We the people of this world, we are confronted with developments in science and biotechnology such as cloning, genetic mutations, artificial intelligence etc., that cause us discomfort and confusion. Anyone can ask himself: are there moral correlations in perpetual scientific development? What should be our attitude towards the modern life of biosciences? What is the purpose and end of any scientific act?Ethics is the scientific sector that comes to respond to the dilemmas posed by scientific and technological developments. Composing the Humanities with science under a valid interdisciplinary dialogue, bioethics seeks to respond to contemporary dilemmas of life sciences having guided the activities of the biggest benefit for humans and society. As activity bioethics concerns not only scientists, but also every citizen separately as we have a duty as a human conscious subjects to judge and to decide ethically when find ourselves faced with dilemmas like stopping a pregnancy or the right in death. The use of moral philosophy, specifically of applied ethics is the parameter that helps the Bioethics to come up with moral overtones. With the tooling using traditional moral theories, applied Ethics can lead to moral judgments and judgments on insoluble scientific ethics dilemmas. There are of course dilemmas where conflicting values and goods can prevail. Through the tools of Applied Ethics, Bioethics is called upon to evaluate the priority of these values and to apply them to society in the form of consensus.ioethics is rightly considered today as an autonomous and complex ethical social ecumenical activity. Recognizing the priorities of individual liberty and social equality, Interdisciplinary Bioethics processes aim to create those conditions that will help scientists and citizens to make moral judgments and decisions on dilemmas created by the use of modern scientific achievements.
