Επίδραση του στρες στην έκβαση της εξωσωματικής γονιμοποίησης (Master thesis)

Μελετούδη, Κωνσταντίνα

This thesis, entitles “The Impact of Stress on the Outcome of In Vitro Fertilization”, aims to evaluate the levels of anxiety experienced by infertile women who were undergoing assisted reproductive technology through the method of in vitro fertilazation. The conclusion in most of the studies is that women undergoing assisted reproductive technology experience mild to moderate infertility related stress. However, it is still not clear whether this stressful situation directly affects the outcome, in relation to pregnancy rates. That is why the initial evaluation of infertile couples, the treatment strategies and the proper care, are vital for a positive outcome of the in vitro fertilization.
