Nowadays, an increasing number of people have been experiencing lactose intolerance symptoms. Lactose is one of the most important carbohydrates found in milk, so it is a key component of all dairy products. Therefore, the need for the design and production of lactose-free products is rapidly growing nowadays. The purpose of this study is to evaluate consumer behavior towards these products, as it represents a relatively recent addition to people's dietary habits. For the purposes of the study, a digital questionnaire was designed using the online platform Google Forms. The questionnaire consists of two sections: the first section collects demographic information, while the second section gathers consumer opinions regarding lactose-free products. A total of 101 individuals participated in the study, with 37 being male and 64 being female. The results obtained from the participants' responses were analyzed using SPSS 25 software. In conclusion, most of the respondents are aware of the existence of lactose-free products and their nutritional value. Consequently, they have incorporated these products into their diet on a weekly basis
