Strokes are an important part of neurology because the brain is centrer of the nervous system. Strokes is the third cause of death worldwide after heart disease and cancer. Responsible for 10% of deaths worldwide. Is a major public health problem and is responsible for a large proportion of disability from central nervous disease. According to WHO 5,5% million die worldwide from this decease. The World Health Organization difiny stroke as( any damage to the brain tissue or spinal cord caused by a disorder caused in the blood supply and in which there is sudden onset of symptoms.Patients after stroke they are dependent to a small or large extent their family environment. In many cases treatment is done and for this there are negative effects on the mental health of the patient. Nursing care becomes necessary in terms of supervision for the quick recovery of the patient.
