Unaccompanied migrant and refugee minors: (Master thesis)

Migration is a multidimensional phenomenon that has been a concern in human history from antiquity to the present day. Europe receives migratory and refugee waves from various routes and Greece is one of the main countries of reception, transit or destination. In addition, in recent years it has had to face significant challenges in managing these migratory flows. This situation has affected the country on a socio-economic, political, cultural and educational level. Education, aimed at improvement, must now ensure an environment that meets the requirements and specificities of all socio-cultural groups, as it is now called to manage populations with immigrant or refugee backgrounds. This paper focuses on the study of the content and orientation of the education provided by the country to a particular population group, that of unaccompanied minor refugees and migrants. Finally, the data for writing the paper were obtained through a literature review, interviews with workers of an NGO and a diary recording.
