The diploma thesis concerns the design of a social housing complex for low-income families combined with other uses. The plot of land that was chosen is located in Xanthi, in the EKTENEPOL area, consists of 15 acres and includes private and public uses. More specifically, 76 residences, workshops, restaurant, cafe, laundry area, library, multipurpose room for adults and children, gym, mini market and park. The residences are divided into 4 types according to the number of family members, all designed with the same specifications and organized in such a way as to have outdoor and semi-outdoor spaces nearby. All these come in close contact with the additional uses that can be exploited by the entire area. The lost sense of neighborhood revives and offers a better quality of individual and collective life.
