Κώστα, Αικατερίνη/ Kosta, Aikaterini
The PhD thesis investigates the impact of environmental programs on the knowledge, attitude change, and behavior of primary education students. This work highlights the importance of environmental education as a tool for enhancing environmental awareness and shaping sustainable behaviors from an early age. The research explores how students are affected by their participation in programs that promote knowledge of ecological principles and their connection to nature. The findings indicate that environmental education programs, especially those involving outdoor activities, significantly improve students' knowledge and connection to nature. The study suggests that the repetition of these programs can further enhance positive attitudes and behaviors toward the environment, contributing to the development of responsible and environmentally conscious citizens.
