Erythropoiesis, the production of red blood cells, is a dynamic process that is regulated by a number of transcriptional networks. The mouse fetal liver as the primary hematopoietic organ, is comprised of a variety of cell populations, that can be studied to expose erythroid transcriptional programs. This study focuses on the differential gene expression of mouse fetal liver cell populations across three developmental days. RNAseq data from CD71+/Ter119+ and CD71+/Ter119- populations in embryonic days: E11.5, E12.5 and E13.5 were examined in silico, to assess the transcriptomic differences caused by developmental age as well as the presence of different surface markers.
