Construction of a power supply capable of providing symmetrical voltage from 0 25V (Bachelor thesis)
Βαμβακάρος, Δημήτριος/ Vamvakaros, Dimitrios
This work focuses on the development and construction of a power supply,
capable of providing symmetrical voltage from 0 to 25V. The importance of such a
power supply is fundamental to the proper functioning of various electronic systems,
as it is the main source of energy for powering circuits and devices.
First, the paper offers an extensive review of the history of electronic science,
presenting its evolution from an tiquity to modern applications. Special emphasis is
placed on the fundamentals of electronics, such as electric current, frequency, and
basic electronic components. The functional characteristics, structure and practical
applications of diodes, transistors , operational amplifiers and transformers are
analyzed in detail.
The paper then examines electronic signals and oscillators, identifying the
different kinds of signals and their applications. Here is a thorough analysis of signal
generators, including the ir types, functions, and requirements. Special emphasis is
given to frequency generators and their applications in electronics.
The paper proceeds with a review of batteries and power systems, examining their
historical development and their importance in modern electronics. In particular, the
structure and operation of power supply systems are analyzed, including the
transformer, rectifier, stabilizer and control circuits.
The construction steps, the selection and connection of the components, as well as
the necessary tests to verify the functionality of the system are then presented in
detail. Analysis of transformer, voltage rectification, stabilization and control circuits
is included.
In conclusion, the work points out the advantages and improvement p
ossibilities of
the fabricated power supply. The test results demonstrate the effectiveness and
reliability of the system, while improvements are suggested for future research and
reliability of the system, while improvements are suggested for future research and development.development
